Coffee Hour and Cabin Fever

Cabin fever has infected many of our young ones and it is contagious!  Parents, please let your children know that running is not allowed in the church building.  Our crowded coffee hour has become a dangerous mixture of hot coffee and tea and children dashing about.   Let’s all remind the children to slow down for everyone’s safety.

Interfaith Gathering

Sunday, March 14 at 3:00 p.m.

St. John’s Lutheran Church - Across from Northland Library

Our Coming of Age Youth and their mentors will share an overview of Unitarian Universalism in a clever skit at this annual event open to all.  The Interfaith Gathering gives the North Hills community an opportunity to learn about many faith groups.  Come see Grace Handler, Nancy Kepner, Pat Meier, Victoria Robertson and Ford Smith share their enthusiasm for our religious tradition.

Playgroup: Tuesdays at 10:30 a.m.

Playgroup meets on Tuesday mornings.  We welcome all parents and children of all ages.  Bring a lunch and stay into the afternoon!

Coming of Age

Our Coming of Age program for High School Youth includes five 9th and 10th graders and their mentors. The youth and their mentors will journey together in a series of Sunday evening religious classes. Youth will complete social action/service work and develop personal credo statements to present to the congregation in spring. Kudos to the youth and their mentors for committing to this important program of our church.
